Health Guarantee Details

Initial Health Guarantee

We guarantee that all our puppies are in good health at the time of sale. When you receive your new Teacup Chihuahua puppy, they will have:

• Received their first set of vaccinations appropriate for their age.
• Undergone a thorough veterinary examination.
• Been dewormed accordingly.

We recommend taking your new puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of bringing them home. This initial check-up will ensure that your puppy is healthy and allows for immediate attention to any concerns that may arise.

One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

At Adopt A Pet, we stand by the health and quality of our puppies with a one-year genetic health guarantee. This guarantee covers any life-threatening genetic defects or congenital conditions that may arise within the first year of the puppy’s life. Should a serious genetic health issue be discovered within this period, we offer the following options:

1. Replacement Puppy: We will provide a replacement puppy of equal value from the next available litter.
2. Refund Option: Alternatively, you may choose to receive a refund up to the purchase price of the puppy, excluding shipping costs.

Conditions of the Health Guarantee

To validate this health guarantee, we require the following conditions to be met:

1. Veterinary Confirmation: The health issue must be diagnosed and confirmed in writing by a licensed veterinarian. We may request a second opinion from a veterinarian of our choosing.
2. Proper Care: The puppy must have received routine veterinary care, including vaccinations, preventative treatments, and a balanced diet. Neglect or improper care voids this guarantee.
3. Immediate Notification: We must be notified immediately of any health concerns. Failure to inform us promptly may void the guarantee.

What is Not Covered

While we strive to breed the healthiest puppies possible, our health guarantee does not cover:

• Minor or treatable conditions, such as common puppy illnesses or parasites.
• Injuries or illnesses resulting from accidents, improper care, or neglect.
• Cosmetic issues, such as underbites or overbites, that do not affect the puppy’s overall health.
